First Chinese New Year in UK

How to spend my first Chinese New Year in UK?Every one sure will think celebrate Chinese New Year in UK sure will difference or else,if you also think like that totally is wrong;cause here is UK not Malaysia so we all also need work when first day of Chinese New Year.
Chinese New Year Eve,after work just went Casino in Northampton with boss and friend.We went Casino purpose not went to gamble just went there to ate supper and drunk alcoholic onlyXD
I really know nothing about gambling,I go around whole Casino and saw they play I still don't know what they playing at there.

hehe~my boss won £1k++...he said he went 3 time also never won but this year he won£1k++,seem like in this year he so prosperous.My boss gamble till 3.30am just was willing back home...
When I calling back to my friend,some people asked at there got firecracker,got lion dance...I just can say at here totally can't feel Chinese New Year mood,no fireworks,no Chinese lantern,no firecracker sound,no lion dance...At this time I really miss home and miss that time when I still at Malaysia every year back home town celebrate Chinese New Year with my big family.
Actually I already 2 years did't back home town celebrate with family already,last year because need lead tour so did't back home;and this year I already in UK.When I video call with my grandparents they look like old a lot already.When grandfather said:"Now grandfather old already don't still can live how many year,you faster come back,I long time did't see you already".After I heard this I really felt want cry,but I know I can't cry in front my family.
After I heard this I just got 1 wish only,which is my family safely,health.Must wait me back celebrate Chinese New Year with them~God please bless them safely and health.Thanks god
